A North Carolina man has been indicted for allegedly using 10,000 bots and AI-generated songs to fraudulently earn over $10 million in royalties

North Carolina man indicted for allegedly using 10,000 bots and AI-generated songs to fraudulently earn over $10 million in royalties from major streaming services.

If convicted, 52-year-old Michael Smith faces a possible maximum sentence of 60 years in prison.
